How much money should we keep while taveilling to canada

Please tell me how much should we keep while traveling to canada and What happened at the canadian port ......... wat documents should we keep in our hands.. please reply asap as i am leaving on 10 Aug Thanx

If you have 10,000 canadian dollars or more you have to declare them

On the documents include:
1. Acceptance letter from school
2. Proof that you have enough money to support you while studying at canada
3. Return plane tickets
4. Passport and student visa

I will fly to Canada on Aug 7... if I get a chance, i will reply on this thread telling you what the officer asked me.. I'm going to study.
