How much bands required to approve Canada VISA.I have scored 6 bands(L-6.5,W-6 ,R-5.5,S-5.5) in IELTS. I am planning to pursue my Masters related to Computer Science in CANADA .My UG(B.tech(IT))-69%,10th- 78%(scored 66%in english lang),12th- 80% (scored 75%in english lang) and also suggest some universities in canada that suites my profile.Urgent friends please help me to find out,Because I have to apply asap.I have already rejected twice by US VISA.
Is inter networking anyway related to computer science,Can I pursue my masters in this stream,then how about job opportunities in Canada for this course?

Hi,

1. With 5.5 in two modules, it's NOT possible for you to be eligible for any master degree program in any average/above-average University. You need 6.5 to 7.5 (overall) with 6.0 to 6.5 (in each module).

What if I get admission from a University? Will it be any problem in my visa Clearance?
Or can I try some colleges for PG diploma's?

You can surely try, however just give your IELTS again...otherwise your profile is good

Hi,

1. For all PG/University PG courses, 6.5 (overall) with 6.0 (each module) is a basic standard.
2. It may be possible for you to "manage" your admission, but what about your "visa profile". With already 2 US refusal in hand (visa officer will take note of it), may NOT be a good idea to apply with 5.5

How they know I was REjected twice By US?
and I heard that wit 6 bands overall,they got VISA for Masters(KINDLY)..

Reply must Enfield for previous Question and still spp is there? Because i read in this forum,one can get get visa easily with 0verall 6 band(if one who have good colg or univ admission mainly)and also required less docx, and again if i got admission for Masters-will it be any problem in getting visa for my case(pardon me for again askin tz)?

Hi,

No meaning of asking the same thing in a different way. In the end, it would be your choice/option to apply with 5.5 in two modules.

1. To apply under SPP, you must be a student of www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/StudentPartnersProgram_ProgrammePartenairesEtudiants-Nov09.aspx?view=d
2. IELTS is NOT a must but "strongly recommended" thing. On this forum, we have atleast 3 members with approved visa + NO IELTS ( or atleast 5.5 in one module)

-(Naveensss)- SPP, 5.5 in one module, visa approved in 4 days.
-(Arun2012)- General, No IELTS, Master graduate from IIT, brilliant academic record, Ph.D student in Canada with CAD 20,000/year scholarship.
-(happygarcha)- General, No IELTS (ESL admission with Master certificate course in University of Regina).
3. I repeat, it's "NOT possible" for you to get into any Master program (in an average/above average University) with 5.5 in two modules.
