How do I know whether my qualifications are accepted for further education

Hi,

We will be migrating to Canada probably next year. My son who is 19+ years old has completed the following educational qualifications.
1) IGCSE (O/Levels) after School Grade 11 - Cambridge University UK qualification

2) Higher Professional Diploma in Business Administration from City & Guild, UK

3) Currently following Master Professional Diploma in BA with City & Guilds , UK

4) Completed the IT course - ICDL (International Computer Driving Licence)

He intends to study further when migrated to Canada. He does not know at what level he could start at a college or university.

We sent e-mails to many Canadian colleges, but none of them replied properly. The details in their websites are also not giving us direct answers.

Can someone suggest what he should do before coming to Cananda? or with the current qualifications, what level he will be accepted by a college or a uni?
