there's a little bit of confusion in my case. my uncle who is in japan is sponsoring me for the visit. should i show my own personal statement as well?
or should i get a letter from my uncle who's lending me like £4000 for the trip. I was thinking of putting this 4000 in my account and give them letter with the statement that my uncle gave me this money for the trip. sounds good?

It would be better if it was in your account.    If your uncle was going with you, or if he lived in Canada, you could show his financial information as evidence that you will be taken care of,  but in this case, it would be best if you can show it as you have the money in your account and leave your uncle out of the equation.  You don't even have to tell them that he loaned you the money.  They don't care where you get the money, just as long as you have it.

Hello Ali,

£ 4000 is a good amount of money for one and half month visit. From which country you will be applying for Visa ? If you had been living in a developed country for a while then its very easy to get a visa.
For your 100 % security get a letter with statement from your Uncle that he is paying for the trip. Put this £ 4000 in your personal account. Never know, some time visa officer ask questions you never expect about. Enjoy your trip.  Cool

I will be applying from London, UK. Yes i will get a letter from my uncle that he is paying all the money which is required for me to visit Canada and he transferred the money into my personal account. (i will attach both bank statements).

A new thing just came up, I asked for a holiday letter from college but instead they gave me absence letter(leave) for the time span I've asked them.
Now when I asked the college they said it is going to work the same way and will change nothing on my end. I don't want to get rejected for a small mistake which is not even made from my side.

What do you guys recon?

Hello Ali,

Everything looks fine to me. You must be having student ID card, get a photo copy and attach to your visa application. Do as I told you. Don't worry. Enjoy your vacation brother.

Hello Ali,

Look brother, If you can get a letter saying "Holiday"for this period of time then its much clear for every one. Ask them to write, that you are enrolled in this institute for this course and would be going on vacation for this period of time. It's so simple.  Cool

Okay so a problem has risen. The bank statement is taking a lot of time to come through and time is the key over here. Its talking more then 15 days and damn I don't have that kind of time left. Do i really need my uncle's bank statement which is in Japaneses language?
Because I have the money with me which is required to travel. £8,000

Ali are you just waiting for the monthly statement?  Do you guys have online banking over there - you can just print off the online copy of his bank statement??? Otherwise, my bf and I went to the bank and paid a small fee to have them print our balance/record mid month.  Just a thought Smiley

Goodluck!

Yeah I tried to ask him do that but in Japan it is not possible. The minimum time it takes is up to 2 weeks. my holidays are finishing in the start of next month so i need to do it in a day or 2 maximum. i can't afford more delays. My question is, Should i just go with my funds and keep my uncle out of it? because clearly he cannot help me at the moment with the statement. And Should I get a letter from him or Do i just do it on my own?

p.s I asked him(uncle) for the money and he said his friend is going to transfer it to my account when ever i ask him.
