Hello,

I got my medicals in October 2010 and then got an additional medical test in December 2010.I need to ask how much delay can a medical furtherance test could cause to the processing of my application.

1.  Depends on the test.  You can count on an extra 4 weeks minimum, if it was a sputum test, then 10-12 weeks extra.

Thanks very much PMM for the reply.

Infact mine medical furtherance test was just a re-do for my X-ray ,as the first X-ray was not clear according to CIC so they requested another one almost one and a half months of my first medicals test and no further investigation was requested.

I applied for a visitor visa and the high commission sent an email that they are waiting for results of the medical furtherance examinations, and cannot continue the processing of my application. But I am yet to receive the passport...How long they might take to send the passport?
