hello everyone,
hope all of u r on your tracks to immigrate to canada, I would like to take you through my academic years. i have completed my 16 years of education from Pakistan, then i went to UK for higher studies i did MSC from there, after doing MSC i did worked for 2 years and the did 1 year Level 7 full time post graduate diploma from UK again.
According to my count i have completed 18 year of education i.e. 17 years till my MSC and 1 year full time diploma.
according to some critics i am being told that i have completed 17 year of education, as my 1 year diploma will no get counted.
COULD SOME 1 HELP ME IN FINDING OUT THAT IF I CAN CLAIM 22 POINTS OR 25 POINTS .
I WILL WAIT FOR A PROMPT AND AUTHENTIC REPLY FROM YOU ALL.

actually its mentioned in the guide the criteria to calculate points out of education...so even if u have a four to five yrs bachelor degree still it willl considered 14 yrs another 2 yrs for ur masters degree...so ur total education will be considered 16 years nd diploma will not considered as its an overlap.

just tell me what is the minimum qualification (total number of years of education) requirement for what u did in UK? if it is at least 16 ............. u get 25 points if it is less than 16 u get 22 points |

i do appreciate your early response
Any PGD will help.  In your case it will give you the 25 points because for that level it says in the guide that you need a masters or a PhD, and you have one in between. |
