treben2009 -

Yaya Marei is applying through the spousal sponsorship process - while your family is being sponsored by your aunt. These are two very different application processes. For this reason you won't be able to compare the time lines and process steps of someone going through the spousal sponsorship process to yours.

Yaya Marei had to do a second medical because the first medical expired. For the spousal sponsorship process, you must submit the medicals with the original application. In your case they were requested later. This is one example of how the two application processes differ and why their processing time lines and steps can't be compared.
