How Long will a LMO take?

I have been offered a role with a company who is looking for specific skills and knowledge in a certain media market, they have not found anyone in the last 6 weeks from three national websites (including the Government Job Site). They are working with a local lawyer in Toronto to obtain LMO but i have no idea how long this would take and then how long after the work permit will take. I ask this question as I will be selling my house in the UK but don't know when to start planning for this.
