Hi everybody. I'm a Canadian citizen living here for more than 10 years now. I have a permanent job and have been informed to be qualified to sponsor my mom from the Philippines. How long will the process take from the time I submit my sponsoship application here in Canada? Any timelines to share? Thanks a lot, every reply is appreciated.

Hi,

For active cases you can have an idea at www.trackitt.com

Normally it should be processed in 6 to 12 months if every thing is fine.

but CIC official dint support me :(  check their web site at:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/times-int/08-fc-parents.html#asia

where sponsoring parent is taking upto 2 years.

I think that I would go with the offical figures.  It is 28 months to process the application in Mississauga, http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/times/process%2Din.html#sponsorship and between 27 & 38 months in Manila, http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/times-int/08-fc-parents.html
