Here's my timeline so far:

Oct 26, 2011            - sent application to Nova Scotia from USA
November 2, 2011     - USPS confirmed receipt of application thru tracking
January 9, 2012        - bank account debited for exact application amount

Reading from this forum, most people get an email confirmation 6-8 weeks after receipt of application.  My questions are:

1)  Is it normal to not receive an email confirmation after more than 10 weeks?
2)  Is it true if it takes more than 8 weeks, it means there's a problem with the application?
3)  Am i just overreacting? lol

Thanks for any help guys.

p.s. i do also check my spam folder

1. The longest time to received a PER after the receipt of application is 131 days. The shortest is 62 days based on the July 2011 (MI3) applicants spreadsheet. Yours is now on its 80th day and it still OK.
2. 8 weeks is equal to 56 days, I don't think so.
3. Panic, tense, pessimism, nail-biting, nervousness, worrying are just the normal symptoms of a FSW applicant. You are not overreacting. he he he....  Grin Grin Grin
