Hi

Hello again,

Not enough information, province, is it a job under pressure in that province.  It could be 5 days for jobs with pre approved LMOs, it could be 36 weeks if it is not a job under pressure in BC.

I see..  thanks for your reply!

another question if you please,

does the LMO fall under governmental jobs only? or for private sectors as well?
like if i had a friend that owns a private company in Canada and asked me to work for him..
would we need to get an LMO for that position?
or do we sign contracts with each other and done?

whats the deal in this case?

LMOs are 99% private, Gov't depts don't hire non citizens.  You should start reading here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/index.asp

Hi PMM. My employer applied for an LMO for my position, which is currently listed as under pressure in BC. They got a letter last week saying that it may take 30-32 weeks. Is it not any faster for occupations under pressure?
