We submitted our application from kenya in November 2006 got the file no. in February 2007.

This wait is too painful.  Guys who have applied from Kenya please  share your experience

dear its just few months you submit application and you start thinking about painfull , people are waiting from 6 years so be patience it will take long time not less then 4 years maybe more or if you will be the lucky one then maybe little quick you can get it but you have to wait long way, so be patience,

no feedback from anybody who have applied from kenya

Hi,i'm not from kenya,but my neighbour is and applied from there in 2005 ending,and have not done the medicals yet.

You have been waiting for just some months!!!!! on this forum people have waited for upwards of 4 yrs.Maybe you should be more patient,it'll come your way. Get on with your life and it pays to sometimes forget about the application. You'll get your haert's desire some day.

You have to be more patient, I applied in July 2005 and I'm just getting my meds done. Times for africa aren't very good so you are in for a long wait... 4 years minimum would be my guess.

Hi lek,  I applied from kenya though reside in uk.

application submitted in February 2005
cic officer missed to see the Bank Draft therefore returned in april 2005 I could nt relocate the documents as they sent them back to kenya and no one was there to collect.

request for police check and english exams feb 2006 and sumitted this in april2006.
march 2007 emailed them to ask them how long more i have to wait.  they responded and posted me a letter for meds etc.
marc 2007 medical and police check requested and right of pr requested.  submitted all by April 2007 and Certificate of good conduct in June 2007 form kenya.
Request for ppt in July 2007
July 2007 - ppt ready for collection visa valid from appril '07.
Landed in November 2007.
So honestly it took exactly 24 months as they indicated on there letter.

Lek what i noted constant correspondence and updating the cic is very important though they never provide any feedback.
