Hi Team,

Can you please suggest, how long does it takes to get the PCC from the passport office? Someone told us,. it takes 3 days, but I have read posts from other poeple saying, that it takes a long time.
Please advise.

This is pertaining to India :

If the PO sends your case to the local police station then it takes 2-3 weeks but i have read that some regional passport offices give PCC in 2-3 days as well...

best will be to inquire at your passport office

My Experience at ND Passport Office: Went at about 1 PM with a filled copy of the form 2 submitted the fee of Rs 300 at the window back of the passport office, was asked to come back in evening went there at about 4:30 had the PCC with me by 5 PM (4 Hours in total). This all without an agent, so go there with the filled form and if they do not need any further details from local Police Station, they will give you the PCC by evening.
