Difficult to predict really!!! It varies between CHC and also depends on country of origin for relatively longer security check  (However, sometimes all these general clauses does not work as newly instructed policy and annual/quarterly priority case processing/ quota can well play a role to keep this on hold....).and obviously on top of everything its actually the luck what matters!!!!! Someone gets PPR within a month of doing medical but at the same time I know some fast track applicants in this forum have been waiting for PPR for more than 7-8 months.....Anyway wish you will get it soon

Fariza is correct. Aside from the time variation of the local visa office, the priorities of the federal government has to be considered. Right now, we're seeing that applicants for the post june 26 gets the higher priority as compared to the other applicants. Regardless, they will release your PPR.

Hi,

I'm exactly like your situation.

medical done by 25 of Nov and paid RPRF and waiting for ppr.

My visa office is Seattle.

Even though it makes me frustrated, we would get ppr soon.

let's fingers crossed~!!!

Each case, each visa office and each visa officer is different. I think it depends on a lot of factors. We cannot predict the reason but only wait.  Sad

i tried to reply your question thru inbox... but yours has been full more than few days... anyway, please find my reply below:

my consultant has said that the policy has been changed.. that might be the reason why there is a delay..

she also mentions that clients with similar timeline have not heard from Visa Office for PPR.. there are some who have not even asked for the medical and police check..

what kind of changes? changing rules during the game is not a good manner. your application is to be processed according to the rules that were in effect at the time of applying, huh? Smiley delay should not turn into cancellation though Smiley
everyone, if it makes you feel any better, please be advised that there are plenty of people in Russia who had their meds done long time ago and still waiting for ANY news. some of them are waiting for about 10 months by now with no info available from the visa office whatsoever. the medicine results are to be expired in a couple of months, so...

sorry for my poor explaination.. the agent has mentioned the rule change which is referred to NOC 29 of June 2010... somehow CIC has allocated the resource on those instead..

I think it just really depends on your visa office.

In our case, we've finished medical on oct 28, 2010...but retest was requested for my husband which was done jan. 28, 2011. Then, PPR was received on mar. 28, 2011
