HOW LONG IS THE WAIT WHEN YOU GET YOUR SECOND MEDICALS?

Hey guys!

     My husband had his security interview at the end of October and we were waiting for a response.
Yesterday i got an email after two and a half months from Immigration and Medical Division saying
they need updated forms of; Permanent Residence IMM0008, Schedule 1/Background Declaration
& Additional Family Information form IMM5406. Including his Medicals & Police Report. They also
stated in the email that when they receive everything they will need four to review everything.
Would it really take four months? I've heard it takes less than a couple of months. Also what
happens after they send us a confirmation and ask for the passport for visa, how long would
that take?

So it was 2.5 months for him to Same timeframe as mine.

It usually takes 5-8 weeks for PPR after redoing med's. That's the time frame for London regional medical center when results are sent to Vienna afterwards.
I'm waiting too for PPR after redoing med's and I will inform you about my time frame. My medical was on Dec 20th, London received it on Jan 3rd.
I'm not sure how long will it take to review his updated forms...but it might be 4 in total if they said so...

When you get PPR it will be instructions in that email. Don't know about London but Vienna offers same day service to "stamp" your visa. You leave your passport from 8:30-10:00h and collect it with visa around 15:00h. You can also mail it, but of course it takes longer to get it back.

hello iam in the same boat, my husband re-did his medicals and its 3 months this week,,iam a bit confused, are you saying after 3 months of doing the medicals it will take the embassy an addition 5-8 weeks before they call him for his PR? I hope not

After medical exam it usually takes 5-8 weeks for Vienna applicants to get PPR when London regional medical office is done with reviewing of those medicals.
For other regional medical offices those time-frames are probably different.

My husband went for his medical, and the doctor told him that after we get the results we will send them
to London visa office. He didn't say anything about Vienna. So Serdj977 your saying after they receive
the medicals it will take them 5-8 weeks to send the passport request right? I really hope the process is
quick, but still very happy something happened and we have an idea what is next!

my husband re did his medical, submitted it with his passeport and the unpaid fees. Two weeks later he got his request to pick up his passeport the same week.

I think it depends from an embassy to an other. His app was in Lima, Peru.

It tooks two years for the entire process, but once he got his interview request everything unrolled really fast. A month and a half later, he received the passeport from the day he got he interview request.

My office is Vienna. I just mentioned that part cause it probably takes few days for results to get from London to Vienna after review.
Since your office is London (and regional medical center is there) it could be faster for you but it's all matter of days and weeks for all of us anyway.

I compared other cases from my visa office and it took 5-8 weeks in general for all of them. And that's 5-8 weeks after medical is done.

Hey you guys, the VO emailed with instructions on redoing medicals and a copy of form A to bring to the doctor...all of you that redid yours, did you have to send anything to your VO? This second time the meds got sent to London by the dr. The first time we did the meds we sent in a copy of the form the dr gave to us...

When my husband got his second medicals and police report he also had to send updates of three other forms which we sent.
Other than that when my husband re-did his medicals he got another form and he sent that off with the rest of the papers.
We did that the first time too so assumed we should do the same second time around.

hey liza5 my Visa office is Rabat in Morocco,, the Doctor  send the file to Paris and then after that it goes to Rabat, as of now we heard nothing. My husband only got a receipt from the Doctor that he still has with him. Not sure if he had to send that in. Did your husband send anything after he did his 2nd medicals???

My husband's Visa office is London, after he did his second medicals he sent off the paper that the doctor gave.. he sent it off just as proof i guess also he sent the police report and 3 other forms they requested from him.
If you don't mind me asking whats your timeline Hayati?
