How long is PCC valid for?

Guys,
How long is PCC valid for? I sent my application without PCC from UK (hadn't arrived at the time). Even though not a requirement from VO, sent one from current country. Now UK PCC has arrived and I want to know if I can still send it at a later date when requested by VO or need to get a new one?. Date of PCC creation is 12th April, 2011. Thanks...Mandie

For immigration purposes the VOs ask them to be up to 3 months old. Some people though, who got processed fast, they were not asked to submit fresh ones. But you have to be prepared that they might ask you for fresh ones.
If I remember correctly UK charges only 5 pounds if you request for another PCC in a 3 month period. What I would do in your case? I would ask for another one now, so it would have a more recent date on it. If it reaches you before VO requests for your UK PCC, then you submit the fresh one. If not, then give the one you have and hope they won't ask you for a more recent one.

PCC is valid for 3 months from the date printed on the PCC certificate, remember mostly VO ask for fresh PCC before medical even sometime ask after medical and with medical request too.
Search mr.H1b4canada post in this forum. he got medical + FBI + pcc request by Vo.

I didn't submit my PCC and I guess I'd get PCC + MR same time.
