Hi guys,

I had my medical test more than 3 months ago, and they had sent me medical form about 3.5 months before. But I still haven't heard from them. Does anyone have any idea what goes on during this time? I have seen some of my friends getting passport request even after 2.5 months from their medical, but I don't know what's wrong with my case.

BTW, I am already living in Canada using temporary visa. Any insight will be appreciated!

Thanks in advance

i've read that after they receive the results of the medical exam, they will do security checks.

i think the process is slowing down because they have a lot of applications on hand.

there is also a theory of some that each visa office has a specified number of visas that they can issue per year, and if it has run out before the year ends then they will issue by january when their visa allocation has been refreshed.
