I guess maybe we can try that although the Pretoria office shows no record of it ever getting there!! Thnk it was supposed to be sent to Nairobi office 1st, then to Pretoria?!??? So when they called the Nai office, they had no record of it! Arghhh!

Hey, do u know if it's true tht there's no longer a medical office in Nairobi for Africa? I read there's only London or Paris now???

I would totally believe it. My husbands medical was sent to Paris and he's from Turkey. The VO in Ankara, Turkey had no way of finding out anything until Paris was finished processing the medical. So it would seem the same for Turkey? On a positive note, they do finish processing it in a fairly timely manner, I mean, I can't say I felt like it while I was waiting, but it was about 2 and a half months before it went back to Turkey.

Hey did you have to pay for the DHL or Fed Ex or whatever, to send the medical to Paris or did your Dr do that himself?

Yes, the Dr. couriers that to the place responsible for processing your medical. In my case it was to Paris. You are given a copy of that, I think it's called a green copy, and you send this to the VO. This is what I heard, but I don't think my husband did, so maybe just double check that, probably the Dr. will know.

Congratulations David26. So happy for you. 19 months is such a long wait. Did they find your medical? or did you redo it? It can't be done that fast after you redid your medical? Anyways still awesome!!!! Cheesy

Congrats David, nice to hear you finally got PPR, I read that in another of your posts. Do you actually know why you had to wait so long? Berlin is processing in a much shorter time.
