I sent my passport to Buffalo today via Expressmail.  In others' experience, how long does it actually take to get back?  I included an Expressmail return envelope as they suggested.

I don't actually know, but I've been told that it takes approximately 2 weeks.

Does the envelope they suggest 9x12 Express mail actaually fit in the grey envelope they provide somehow or did you send in a different envelope? I'm about to send out my passport to Buffalo in a couple days.

If you fold it in half it fits, so that's what I did.

I then put the grey envelope into an express mail to US envelope.  It's the only way you can send mail to the US with tracking.  Hopefully that's OK - it says to mail in the grey envelope, but it also suggests using a premium mail service with tracking.

I just sent mine 2day. I also put the grey envelope into an express mail envelope. I figured its ok because there are people on here from US that I've talked to that didnt even recieve a grey envelope or the same set of instructions that I did. I'm just having it sent back in regular mail.

From comparing the timelines on trackitt.com the average time for Buffalo last month was 15-20days of the few cases they have listed.

good luck - I hope we both get them back soon (looks like we have both had pretty good luck so far, so I hope it continues!)
