How long does it take to get a TRV from Buffalo? I sent my passport this past week and want ot estimate the time since I also need to apply fr a US visa once I get my TRV

The uffalo consulate website says 30 working days - does it really take that long or is that sort of the maximum indicative time

If anyone has any experience please let me know!

What is a TRV? do you need to go to Buffalo to get TRV?
Because someday i will be applying also for the Canadian Experience Class

i think it is.............!! because i have applied my TRV on march 19th ........!!

still i am waiting for it and CIC web site says that application is on process for those who haveapplied on march 9th and so

In my experience Buffalo has been very quick as I applied for both me and my husband and we got our TRVs within 10 days (that's not even business days).
Previously I applied TRV through Detroit and it always took 3 weeks or more.

Update: Visa (TRV) application sent on 18th to Buffalo by FedEx- passport recd on May 9th.

were u able to track ur passpoorts with the tracking number for the return envelope...it took exact 15 days for u..

i cant track my tracking number for the return envelope i gave them...its days 14 today...

did u land already???

Hi,

I have a family emergency and i need to leave the country soon. and i need a trv. I'm scared to send away my passport thinking that i might have to even leave the country before that. could you please advice
