Hi  there- Could anyone pls tell me

My application reached sydney  NS on August 10 and I dont know anything about my application package except that it was delivered . This i found from my courier company.

However I didnot provide my email id in the form. This sounds naive but Does anyone know if they would reject an application because of this reason only? or not respond to it? cos their only option would be send a regular mail or courier?

Hello Friend,
I just got reply from CIC. They confirmed that they did not have any record of submission of my application. They also said , it could be in a que for initial processing. My application got CIC on 23 of August2011. Did any body who applied on that day receive any feedback from CIC? Your time will be appreciated. Any suggestion?

If you see the instruction guide they have clearly mentioned that incomplete application will be returned without processing, since there is separate field for email address and you have left that field empty then they might treat it as incomplete..

But it asked for permission of your email id if you wanted your file no. or any  other information to be transferred to that email and i didnt want that. I preferred traditional method of  a physical letter so i didnt mention.

How can I contact them and know the status of my application?

 your kind help will be appreciated

How long does it take for response to initial federal skilled worker application to CIO, if application filed in Oct 2011?

I have also applied since October 7th 2011 and since then no single email has been received from CIC. I am just praying that i will receive an email. Lets see what happens?
