Any insight is helpful, thanks:

I sent my fingerprints and application form, along with the credit card form to the FBI at the end of July, and I received Delivery Confirmation from USPS on July 25. Right now I am freaking out, because they have not charged my card yet, and Buffalo is requesting my application be sent no later than 2 months from Monday, Aug 8. I am sending out another request tomorrow, but with a money order this time, because I think they may have misplaced my request.

Sooo...does anyone knonw if they charge the card right away, or is it only when the order is processed. I would rather take the chance of getting two back, than wait and see if they still have it...right?

Took over 4 weeks for my card to be charged, and I got the paper 9 weeks from the date of mailing.

Update on FBI Background Check.

Received report back today, 9 weeks exactly. Seems like a huge headache for a piddly piece of paper that says 'no record available'.
