Hello, Today I sent in my wife's fingerprints and paperwork to the FBI via Fed Ex.

The CIC website says I should expect to wait between 16 and 18 weeks to receive the results.

I sent the prints from Canada and asked for the results to be mailed to Canada.

Can anybody out there let me know how long the wait will REALLY be??? Less then 18 weeks?? More then 18 weeks??

Check out the FBI time threads here.  It varies, depending on their workload, I guess.  I've seen as little as 5 weeks, and as much as 15.  It takes as long as it takes.

usually 3 months. Although make sure the prints are CLEAR  or they'll make you re-do it and that's a big waste of time.
