We finally had our PR request last week! After applying in May 2010, its nice to finally get it at the end of August 2011...

How long did it take for them to send the Visa and your passport back to you? We thought of going to Paris to drop off the passport, but my husband just came to visit here in Canada. So we are hoping that it will come back before he has to return and then he can just fly back to Switzerland pack up his things and come back. But if not, I guess we will have to extend his stay and wait for it to come back.

Anyway, just wondering how long it takes.

We sent ours to Toronto from Alberta and it took a couple of weeks.  We even made sure to provide Xpresspost envelopes to speed it up.
