This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada under the family class category.
 
Please be informed that an interview has been arranged for you at the Canadian Embassy in Cairo, Egypt on Wednesday 08 February 2012 at 09:30 a.m.
 
You must be on time and in possession of  the following supporting documents:
 
-  Original passport or any other legal identification document and a photocopy.
-  Marriage certificate, with an English translation-
-  Birth certificate, with an English translation.
-  Proof of ongoing relationship between you and sponsor (photos, exchanged letters, exchanged emails, wedding photos, etc.)
 
 
Please confirm your attendance by return email at your earliest convenience   .

CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF THIS REQUEST IS NORMAL SEEING THAT I PROVIDED ALL THIS INFORMATION ALREADY EXCEPT THE ONGOING PROOF?

THIS IS VERY FRUSTRATING I HAVE MIXED EMOTIONS RIGHT NOW

My hubby, not from Cairo, received the same email Jan.11.12 with an interview date of today. We replied and asked if we had to submit all our relationship from the beginning; they told us no only the last 3 months. But if you email someone should answer you.

As for how long it takes after the interview...they won't tell you. All they told him was that they will contact him when the decision is made.

I feel like you...frustrated and anxious to start a normal couple life.

Hi Bondar, thx for the wishes!  I will let you know as soon as we hear something from the visa office. No they didn't keep his passport.
