How is the background check exactly is done??PMM please need answer

I had a bad dream last night that I'm going to the interview with my husband and in my dream i saw the IO. Even I remember few of the questions that he was asking both of us... HOPE it's not a bad news coming to our way :0(

I will tell you my experience about bad dream, even that I believe somehow in dreams, that sometime become true, but because of the fact that most of us are thinking non stop with our immigration file, our fear, question...so when we go to sleep, our mind don't sleep, he is preoccupied with the immigration issue, so we start having bad dreams based on our fear and question.
that what exactly used to happen with me, for more than 2 month, it was a real heal...I used to sleep, but my mind don't and keep working...can you believe 2 time I woke up crying, really crying...
I thank God that I was able to survive this bad experience and keep a stable mind.
Don't be scared, it is our blackhead working while sleeping. I manage to pass this period by shut down my mind before falling asleep...before that I used to spend 4 hour before I can fall asleep..
Try to stay optimistic, things will be good

Hi

It means CSIS has completed the security background and with the PCCS the criminal background is complete.  They maybe do some further checks, but it is unlikely.  So if  there are no doubts about the relationship and no interview is required, you should receive a PPR.

as you are a experienced one here I would really appreciate any reply from you for my question.

now it has been 9 months that my file in in background check after my interview. spouse sponsorship.
I contacted CSIS and they said their review was done on 5/Feb/2011. I inquire from New Delhi and got a reply that file is still in background check In April/2011. I have no military or government position background. the only thing is I am Iranian and have lived here since 2006 as a student.

Any Idea PMM?
