How is the background check exactly is done??PMM please need answer

RCMP in Canada and it takes long time with them for the process to be completed. I don't understand why RCMP was involved if you never lived in Canada Right??? It can be your husband because he is the sponsor.... i don't understand why they should get involved in your case.

That what I was wondering about, Boujasim told me that the RCMP is like the FBI in USA, but I never were in canada, so what did they do, search for someone who never been there and they know that..so??? I am confused...

it probably was done for ur husband since he is a canadian citizen and both of ui are applying from outside canada, anyways why bother urself with it? isnt it done? khalas put it behind u

Hey Boujasim, well maybe you are right about RCMP, my husband will re-read the CAIPS intensly, I have sent him the CAIPS code meaning, and we will see from there...the issue is like I told Azadi, since suposely we must be in the end, I am anxious to be done...

If I recall correctly, mimi123's husband wasn't working in Lebanon (because he couldn't get a work permit). And they had not made arrangements to lease an apartment in Canada. Although mimi123 was working and her english was fluent I don't know about the husband (the sponsor) so his background and ability proved to be decisive for the visa officer. Perhaps a little bit of gender discrimination was at play as well. But, I agree Boncuk that we do not have their background, however, applicants should be aware that for those sponsors living abroad with their spouses, the financial requirements could be a bigger concern and they should not overlook them.

Btw, is your name Turkish because a boncuk is a bead in turkish (and happens to be my lost cat's name) :)

Yeah it's my nickname and yes I'm Turkish :) My father called me Boncuk because of my blue eyes lol It's a cute name for a cat too :)

Hey rorita.. yeah the family and me have been out and about doing things and getting ready for our 10 day vacation on the beach :)) I need to get away from all this immigration stuff its getting me down.. Nothing from our side no.. I doubt we will hear anything for another month.. but we are still checking the email just in case lol.. There is a really LOUD wedding in our neighbourhood tonight and the lululululu and belly dancers are making me crazy lol

I am fine thank you, doing nothing actualy these days, because of the election, going out wasn't a good idea because there was some security problem here and there..nothing major..:)
I need a vacation as well, but since my husband is in the USA..it is rediculous to go on a vacation alone..hopefuly we are done soon, we are planing to go for a vacation to Niagara falls, since I will be landing in toronto...
Have fun in your vaccation and watch out from the sun...yiii I really like traditional wedding in Egypt..they really know how to dance..:))

lol.. they are REALLY loud.. that's all I can tell you :)) Yeah I can't wait.. probably in about 10 days we will be gone.. I need relief .. Niagara Falls is a lot of fun.. You could even book a night in the honey moon suite :)) Great view of the falls and lots of nice places to have dinner.
I heard about the election.. I hope nothing happens isa and you are out of there soon!
We are going to be landing in Toronto as well but will probably take a plane from Toronto to Windsor.  No stops.. 3 kids .. hubby and me will be so tired lol Plus I think my mother wouldnt be able to stand knowing we have landed and not seeing us! lol

Well actually my husband will drive from windsor to toronto, we will stay couple of days in Niagara Falls, and then back to my new house...

You know sometime I hate having all this info concerning immigration...cause I feel it is taking the biggest part of my life, I always think about it, even while sleeping...it is crasy...
