How is finding work as an IT in Canada going to be
«

Hi Guys,
Me and my family will be arriving in Calgary, AB, Canada on November 3 this year as part of the Skilled migration program. As the main applicant I applied for IT Management. I have been applying incessantly online (monster.ca and the like) but no significant responses yet. Is it very hard to land on an IT job in Canada? What should one have to have his own niche on the IT arena in Canada?
Thank you very much.

Job finding is time consuming process everywhere, you will not see much progress until you have local contact no
for recruiter to contact.
Calagary does not have very good market for IT compare to toronto , again it depends on your skills.
Companies often ask for canadian exp and/or education from canada.
You may have to try very hard and just don't loose hope, becoz it takes some time. I have a fren from India who landed two months back and still looking for JOb in toronto.
Good luck for your job search, don't expect call from any company if you have not provided them canada no, all interview happen face-2-face.
