Hi,
thank you for setting this up. One question: Do you know how to prepare an extra paper that is being sent separately after the big package? Is a simple envelope with the extra papers and our names enough?

Make sure the envelope, the cover letter, and each page of the extra papers are clearly marked with the applicant's name, date of birth, and file number. It wouldn't hurt to put the sponsor's info on there as well. And make sure the cover letter clearly explains what these extra papers are for - to be added to your file as extra evidence that your relationship is genuine, or as a redo of a form you made a mistake on, or whatever the case is. |

Here is a photo of the red tabs:  they just say they "could" leave a mark as a disclaimer, but I've been using them many years in the office and they usually don't leave marks =) Wonderful, thank you so much  Did you write on the tabs or you just placed them to mark the different sections? I can hardly wait to see your timeline for getting your PR. Hopefully all the wonderful organization skills pay off and you get it faster! |

Hi there, I also had to send extra documents to CIC, I sent in an employment certificate because when I sent the application package I did not have a job yet, and now I do. I am the sponsor btw, and we have not received AOR or sponsor approval yet so we did not have a file number yet. What I did is type up a cover letter stating "Application for Permanent Residence - Spousal" then my name, stating I am the sponsor, date of birth and my Client ID number (on my PR card) then my husband's name, stating that he is the applicant, date of birth. Then a brief explanation on what the document is and why I am sending it. I also stated the date I sent the application so that they know that they may have not opened our application package yet. Then on the job certificate itself I also wrote down our names, dob and my uci number. Hope this helps! =) |
