How helpful is CAIPS? Anybody tried before? please share your experience. Sometimes we send email to the CIC office about our outstanding application and they response. Is there any significant difference between CIC response and CAIPS?

Thanks.

Mohan,

CAIPS is not a reply for your application. It contains everything and every stage that files has gone through. ALl the remarks of the Visa officer, who checked your files, what they find was missing, what date they are going to send you medical, etc. Emails are different and dont give exact status of your application. But CAIPS can give u idea what is being done to your file.

Thanks for your reply. Do you have any idea how long does the whole process take to get a reply from the CAIPS?

The payment method for CAIPS suggests payment must be made by credit card. Does it accept debit card as well? Any idea?

Mohan,

I applied for CAIPS and it helped me. I got an interview call for 29 July, though i am still awaiting the communication from VO. It helped me understand why my interview was called. SO i was prepared for that. It usually takes 6 weeks to get the CAIPS but if you are lucky enough u can get it in 4 weeks but that does not happen usually. It can take more than 6 weeks in fact. FOrtunately, i got it just 2 days prior to my interview and it was helpful.
