After reading few posts here, I started to get worried. I see people sending like 2-3 inches application kits weighting 2-3 pounds. Mine was only the required forms, probably about 25-30 pictures printed in sets of 4 on a standard letter sheet, 3-4 sheets of additional information about the development of our relationship and probably about 10 pages printouts of air tickets, hotel reservations etc.
The whole package was hardly ticker than half inch.

Quality matters more than quantity. Some persons have been approved with 10-12 photos, the forms, and a well-written relationship essay, and some people with masses of paper have been denied. What matters is that you showed how your relationship developed into what it is that caused you to apply to immigrate.  |

Our paperwork was about 1 inch thick, lots of paper clips! We only included what we thought was required: about 50 single photographs, all the forms, about 150 pages of supporting documents (email printouts, witnesses declarations, certifications, translations, etc.) we actually managed to separate the sponsor's documents from the applicant's so we ended up with two envelopes! but UPS fit everything in one single courier plastic pack! i had a picture but has somehow disappear... The subject of this sounds rude get your mind out the gutter lmao thats funny Ours contained the forms, photos, copies of phone bills, cards, the usual stuff I expect, ours was heavier and bigger because my OH put everything in seperate envelope, eg: photos in one, sponser forms in another , my application in another, you get the drift, just to make it easier fot the IO to find everything,and we didnt print the photos onto paper, we went and had them printed out as they were only copies from a memory stick anyway, so that added weight. We didnt give a whole big speel about our releationship tbh, we have been married for 12 years and if they dont believe from the evidence we have sent that we are real by now, i dont know what will. We just basically told them how we met, and from then on a bit about us living in England and then wanting to come live in Canada. Our came in at 2.7 lbs/1.2 kg, so dont think size that matters, its how you use it that matter, get your mind out the gutter I said, i mean how you use the info that you have to your advantage...tsk tsk |
