HI all,

I want to know if engineers are allowed to apply for migration to canada under skilled worker program. I couldn't see any profession list related to engineering. Does any body know how an engineer can apply?

If you are asking about the Federal Skilled Worker program, the list of eligible occupations is here;

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp

If your occupation does not appear on this list - or if it appears on this list but the cap has been reached - then you need to obtain a job offer in Canada in order to qualify for the Federal Skilled Worker program.

There is no restriction for engineers to apply for immigration. Which branch of engineering are you talking about?. As scylla mentioned you have to meet the requirements pertaining to the respective occupation and also should qualify as specified by CIC
