Normally they say it would take 28 days to reply but they reply in 14 days. How did you send the enquiry did you get any automated response when you send they enquiry telling you the response time ?

Cheers

They reply only if they think it is necessary.

Look at he automated responce I got.

Case Specific Enquiry

Your enquiry has been sent to the visa office processing your application. You should receive a reply within 28 working days (by email, regular mail or fax).

If your application is within normal processing times you may not receive a reply from the visa office.

If your message contains new information for your application (e.g. adding a newborn or change of address) your file will be updated but the visa office may not respond to your email.

That was the same automated response I got but even then did not get any reply from visa office.

Its been more than 4 months for submission of my passports. So it is not normal processing time.

Thanks for your reply

Client service unit is incharge of receiving enquiries sent through case specific enquiry portal. If your case is sleeping, they will send you a standard reply, like "your file is waiting for an officer's review". But if CSU thinks an action is needed on your file after receiving your enquiry, they will forward this to the VO handling your file. I received standard replies from them on my first 4 e mails sent to them within 48 hours. I did not receive any reply from them on my 5th e mail, but the next time I heard from them was my medical request..Cheer up friend, soon you will be receiving a news from them...because you did not receive reply from them...I am speculating only based from my own experience...
