 I'm the principal applicant(FSW). We have been waiting for this immigration process a loooong time ago, something like 5 years. my eldest son is anxious to go and continue his masters degree in Canada since he will get his BS next year.We have done our medicals and sent them lately and now we are waiting for the PPR. Do you think that we will reach a happy ending? i,e How much is the chance of not getting our visas after medicals if everything is ok in our medicals? how many people do you know were not granted the visa even after the medicals? Please share your opinions and ideas.

Success a lot of time tests patence. You have already been tested for 5 years. After medicals it is not going to take long. Reason of rejection after medicals can be on account of failure in medicals or security check failure. Otherwise you are very near to your destination.

there is a thread going around here in regards to security / background checks. can't find the link though. you can try searching 'background checks', maybe that will help.

securit check is done mostly through thrid parties - relevant agencies of your country. you should get through if you or any members within your app have never been involved in any activities which can be considered as threatening to canadian way of life -
