I am looking to immigrating to Canada, can anyone tell me how will the process be if I relocate to Hong Kong and then look to immigrate to Canada from there. Will really appreciate any input/suggestions

If you complete one year legal residency in Hong Kong, then you can apply from there.
Check the processing time for Hong Kong before you apply.
As of now 20 months   for Skilled worker applications received between November 28, 2008 and June 25, 2010.
It may change from time to time.
