Hi all,

I wonder does caregiver can get pay when is the public holiday? If the employer on business trip and not in town, how is the salary count ? Do we get pay $8.75/hr and 8 hours a day? or 24 hours a day?

They usually get the day off with pay.

Hi! My employer was away for their vacation 1st 2 weeks of july and i am only paid the normal 8 hours a day, so i guess the after 8 that u r doing doing sitting is free... Sad
