Just one quastion, I applied for PR from Canada and till now i dont recive AIP, I didnt send with my applications an open work permit, I dont know if I did a mistake, however, Can I send the application for an opn work permit now???
and how can I find the application on the CIC web site??

Under family class, I don't think you qualify for open work permit until you have AIP but you can try it.  Fill out IMM1249 at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/extend-worker.asp but write on it initial open work permit for spouse.

Hi I was reading about open work permits today. The info I read on the Immigration site www.cic.gc.ca said that an open work permit can be submitted either with the PR application or later on when you have AIP, but your not eligable to work until you have AIP. It just speeds up the process for the open work permit.
