After 1 and half year waiting. I finially get PPR email from buffalo today. But I already booked everything for Christmas. The email wants me send my passport in 30 days, omg, when I came back it's already Jan 19,which is 35 days. What can I do? Is it possiable to push back the submit date 2 weeks more? Huh

Why cant you send your passport to the visa office as soon as you arrive in your destination? You may submit a pre paid return courier package with the address of your new location.

Be cautious that buffalo only returns pp to canada/us. if he travels outside north america, he can't have this option.

PP submission is a 'soft' deadline. they can easily extend it. to be safe ask them for permission.

congrats on your ppr

Hello, sharuu I received your message, but I don't know why I can't reply it.

The question you asked "What is your timeline?"

I hand in my ME on Oct 4th, finger print check on Oct 26. And I got my PPR email on Dec 14.

Good Luck.

No I don't have visa for US, none of my friend have visa to US. I am leaving next week, I don't think I can find one in 7 days. And I need my passport for plane and Canada re-entry visa.

I have same situation with you. But in difference case...

Email sent for PPR request is Oct 25, 2011 but sadly to say I read the email Nov 29, 2011. Because I'm expecting thru snail mail that's why i checked regularly at the post office. I didn't know they will send me an email, since most of time thru snail mail

Still I sent my Passport on the next day Nov 30, 2011. almost 35 days have elapsed, they received my Passport Dec 5, 2011. And I'm still waiting for my return passport.
