Hi Guys,

Just wanted to share this info for those trying to get these transcripts from Govt universities in India , i got mine although with some trouble.

On the day of pickup , my friend was told that they lost the transcripts however registrar was kind enough and suggested to bring copies again and did the seal sign immediately.

I am very happy with this news, i am applying on July 2nd (FSW3)

Hope this brings some cheer to guys who might try this in India

Hi Dansri,

I asked my friend to visit my college , below are the steps:

1) Get a form from the department for official transcripts - they will tell u how much will be the fees for it , go to mysore bank and make the DD/whatever they ask you to.

2) fill the form , get Head of dept signature.

3) put the form, xerox copies of 8 markssheets, degree xerox in an envelope and then

3) go to bangalore univeristy registrar office and submit it - they will ask you to collect it after 2 weeks.

4) bring the receit with you and collect it from univeristy.

For me , i was lucky .

Was this transcript given to you in university sealed envelope ?
I also have to get original transcript in university sealed envelope as i have to apply in FSW 1 cateogry.
