Hi All Friends - Please Advise

I sent my application alongwith fee C$1250 under FSW NoC 0111 & 1111 and my packet was received at their Sydney Office in Nova Scotia. on 11.05.2009  Till date, no communication from CIO Sydney Office.  My Processing Fee in DD was also not encashed as on 21.07.2009.  I faxed them my application details on 24.07.2009 and mailed to Scot.Steven   @   cic.gc.ca.

Friends please advise me as to how to resolve the issue.

Your advise will be a great help to my case.

When your application was received at CIC,NS. According to the latest trend, it will take 8-10 weeks to get AOR from NS. Just wait.

I got my packet delivered through Canadian post.  It was received by Leo Burns a official at Sydney Office.  This is as per details noted from Canadian post web site.

Hi Sunandan.

I think DD is encahshed 4-5 days after your application is opened, my guess is u still have 2-3 weeks before u will receive ur email.

My application reached NS on 6th July it was opened yesterday i.e 13th August - i still have 5 weeks more to wait for (As per call centre) so there is nothing to worry in ur case as of this moment.

BE PAtient, you will receive an email.

How do u know that your file was opened on 13th August...?

Mine application reached there on 2nd July and I checked with bank 1 week back till then my DD was not encashed...

Is there any other way to check status please let me know..

Actually i have a client ID as i am working in canada so we can track our application through call centre.

14 weeks is certainly good enough , you can certainly followup which u have done.

My suggestion was based on draft clearance date.

So u mean to say that I should check my Draft status now.... Its might be in encashed status....

I hope it works and to get a positive reply...
