My PR application was received on February 6 by Nova Scotia.
I received the AOR on February 17.
I submitted all documents to Japan, Tokyo on June 16th,
and received AOR on August 5th.
The current status says: Your application has been received by the visa office in Tokyo. It is pending review.
SO WHEN WILL I RECEIVE THE MEDICALS? I AM WAITING FOR THE NEXT STEP.

Hi okshan819,
My situation is similar to yours. Similar time lines. I would like to ask you afew questions about your AoR.
1) Did your AOR specified the number of months you will wait before contacting visa office? Mine was 18 months.
Please could you give me some details about your AOR details? In mine i was told they will call me for interview if need be.
Thanks

Hi Canadaforall,
Well in my AOR it said that I should hear from them until or by October 30, 2009. So , I am just guessing that by then I will receive instructions for medicals and find out whether I will have an interview or an interview waiver, or worse case scenario a rejection letter if my application is not eligible.
It says that it takes 12 months though, the processing time so am not sure exactly if that means that the 12 months is from the date the visa office got our docs or the date from the Nova Scotia initial filing...that part I don't understand....

Hi Okshan819,
Thanks for your quick response. I am very positive about everything, so please lets open our minds and be positive. All is going to be fine.
Well in my AOR They said i should only contact then after 18th months, if i do not hear anything from them. Hmmm i was so surprise why all the long wait. But i have read from this forum, from other members , the visa office tell them to wait maybe 2 years before contacting then and they send mail maybe after 10 months and mail did not reach the applicant and he waited and he waited, finally only received letter of rejection that he did not send documents requested.
There are many cases of this nature. If the Embassy could also always send e.mail like they are doing now f or Nova Scotia , it will be very good.
Also my Ecase still showing only the information from Nova Scotia. I do not know why?
Well lets keep in touch and see what happens.
Thanks once small.
Canadaforall.

Yeah that sounds a bit weird....I thought everything was to be finalized in 12 months latest. Now, I am having doubts and I realize it might be a long wait indeed. I don't know....
