Hi guys,
thanks for reading and if possible plz help/advise.
I just got my caips notes and it says
Documents Rqrd Date Requested OK Authority
PHEP 02-04-2010 - -
so what does above means, any help would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance

Canadian PR use to take 5/6 yrs but we were happy. Now it takes max 1 year but we can't wait and before filling application start asking, when will i get med/Passport request? Do your home work, check forum previous pages read CIC site and respect seniors

This means that a passport request letter was issued on 02-04-2010. PHEP is a short term for Passport, Height, Eye color, and Photo.
It is weird that you did not get the letter till now. You should contact CIC/CHC ASAP

i received an email that phep letter along wid re med have been mailed to me.remed coz the first one expired but does phep mean they r requesting passports and if yes can they ask for passports along re med.the case is a spousal and 4 year old daughter sponsorship from islamabad.

it takes 4 to 6 weeks but dont get hasty since i never seen caips been received prior 6 weeks. it also depends whether u selected download option or by post. if ur delivery option is by post then please also add a week in it |

If u get ue CAIPS before 29th July u can figure out the reason for ur interview on 29th july 2010.

If you don't have a friend or relative in Canada, then Google is your friend. Google CAIPS and there are a number of private companies that will obtain them for you for a fee. Unless your application is past the processing time or you are scheduled for an interview, you really are wasting your time and money getting them. |
