The months indicated on the time chart to finalize applications. Are the months counted from the time you receive your AOR or from the time you submitted you application?

It's the time it takes once the local visa office has received the forwarded application from Mississauga.  So, the date on your AOR is the starting point.

Hi. I had the same question because on the trakit site, total time for many who received their visa appears to be from when application was received in Mississaga. But when I talked to a lady in visa office in Bogota, she said it may take my wife a little more or a little less than one year to finalize. She said that is from the time a file was created in Bogota. I hope the timeline is from when the application was received in canada, but afraid emma is correct
