Hi,everyone:

I need an urgent to find the right application form for applying the Live-in caregiver program.  I am working as a live-in caregiver under temporary worker category and decided to stay in canada and hopefully to apply PR when I apply the LCP program.

I am in Canada now and advise by the CIC agent to fill out the form and sent them to Seattle visa offices.  I wonder anyone is about to apply the LCP program and knowing where to download the correct form and maybe we can exchange info and support each other.

Anyone can be appreciated would be appreciated...

Am not sure if this will work for Seattle as different visa offices require different documents to submit with the package. The link from Seattle (or any of the visa offices sites in the US) is not working.

This is from cic.gc.ca: WP application to work in Canada made outside of Canada:

Thank you, job-seeker.  I have tried that myself and it won't work.
I found out the only way to obtain the correct application kit is from "Application from outside Canada".

Possible to offer email address cause I need some advice for my personal situation urgently in Canada.

It's kind of complicated.  Anyway, thank you so much.  I will try to download the application and go through it and hopefully to know someone from here to share the experiences or similar situation and work together as well as supporting each other.

I live in Victoria,BC.

Hi, Job-seeker:

Just one more question, do I need to submit the original passport along with the application form to Seattle visa office for applying the LCP program?

Thanks a lot.

You should. That's where the TRV will be pasted and then when they send you back your passport with the instructions, you need to "flagpole" and pick up your WP for LCP under your employer at the nearest border.

Thank you so much for your assistance.  What is "flagpole"?  I wasn't familiar with everything around here cause start working straight after I finished my course.

Hi, everyone:

I would like to know how can I reply to the people who sent message to my mail box and interested in exchange the email address for each other and sharing all the LCP experiences.

I have received a message from "ying888" and sorry I don't know how to reply your message through this system.

Looking forward to hear from you,

Same way you answer to the posts- click "quote" or "reply" then send when you're done.

"Flagpole" - you go to the closest border, Blaine; drive to the American side and let the CBP officer/s know you're there to pick up your WP. They will direct you back to the Canadian side. Or do a "u-turn" if the break is "open" (happens when there's traffic and one tires of the wait and decides to go back to the Canadian side).
