Hi I filed my application on may17, 2011 at missisauga got letter back on june 20,2011 application sent to new delhi on june 30 ecas says permanent residence application received on june 30th,2011 its been I MONTH AND 29 DAYS no PPR letter ecas still says application received.
Please advice how long will it take to get a letter for passport request this is sooooo frustrating.... THanks in advance

Thanks but i just checked my ecas about 10 minutes ago it says in process now but it says they started processing it on july 12, 2011 i dont get it @ _ @ if they started processing it on july 12 so its been 47 days no letter this is giving me a headache arggh..

I agree it should be a blessing for the OP that his VO is 6 mths some have 27 or 34 mths and they know waiting is the name of the game smdh |

Seriously! What's wrong with people??? If you go look at the Islamabad or Kenya thread you will understand what people are going through!! The VO over there does not even LOOK AT the file for the first 10 months and you want a PPR in 47 DAYS??? I do not know your situation & Im sorry if I sound impolite, but there are so many people around here going through much worse! Have some patience if not compassion or understanding for your fellow beings! Wow, I needed that rant! |

Lol, I think New Delhi people are very lucky, but that shouldn't make us blind to what others are going through. I do understand the general frustration of people (and the person above), but just lost my patience a bit up there... :-/ |

Sorry, but I have to keep going back to this. It gives me a good laugh for the day. In fact, I just looked at my ecas 10 minutes ago as well! Surprise, no change! It's like watching grass grow. Actually, I think that is faster. One time I commented to my husband that he should move to India, become a citizen and then apply through New Delhi. It might be faster! |

This is normal - again, you just need to relax.  Some people see "medical received" in ECAS - others never see it. This update never appeared for my husband and his file was processed without any problems. |

What is needed for immigration? Gather the documentation pay the fees, and mail it off. Then all you need is, lots of patience. IMO - Suck it up, because there are so many other people who are worse off than you. Relax, it will happen in good time  |
