I have a friend who's been living in canada for 20 years, recently, i found out she had no status and have been trying with immigration for a long time now they want to send her back to a place where she have no family and will not have a place to live. is there a way  to help her.

The problem is, when you are living somewhere illegally, you get no more status if you've done it for 20 years than if you'd done it for a year.

Without knowing her situation, it's hard to say if she has some options left.  She can talk to the MP of her district and so can you.  You can talk to an immigration lawyer as well.  If you can't afford one, you can talk to some immigrant/newcomer centres who might have access to one.
