PR importing Car with Visitor on Board

I am planning to drive/import my Car from US to B.C. through Peach Arch Border crossing. I will have my wife in my car who has visitor visa. I am a returning canadian PR.

I am confused as to which process comes first? the immigration or the Car Import? Can we enter Canada together in my car or is there a separate process? Please advise.

There is no reason why you can't drive across the border together. Just tell the officer in the booth that you want to import the car. You will have to park and go inside. You will probably have to go through immigration for your wife first, then to customs for your car.
