Hello!  Please help me!  I sent an email to TOkyo Visa Office requesting for an extension of our deadline.  We received a letter requiring us to undergo medical, pay RPRF and submit our passports.  They are giving us 30 days to do everything.  The problem is my daughter is in Manila and we are leaving next month for Manila too.  We will be back in Tokyo 1st week of Jan.  I requested for an extension sent TOkyo Visa Office an email but still no response.  Another problem is that I noticed that my husband`s name is misspelled on the medical form.  I also sent Tokyo Visa an email regarding this but still no reply.  I don`t know what to do.  Please advise.  Thank you.

1. They usually don't extend the time.
2. U can do the Meds in Tokyo, while Your daughter could get it done in Manilla.
3. All of u can do it in Manilla too. The DMP can forward it to the local CHC. It doesn't matter.
4. That misspell can be corrected by the DMP (signed & sealed by him/her).
5. If u must delay your plan, u may take that misspell recourse & send back all the docs to your CHC.

Note:
a) If u undertake point-5, write a cover letter.
b) Also, that point-5 might delay your case considerably.

Thank you QORAX for your help.  I have one more question.  My husband and I are planning to take the medical here in TOkyo our daughter will take it in Manila and pay the RPRF before the 30 day deadline.  When we send the receipt of the RPRF I was thinking of writing a letter requesting if we could send our passports 1st week of January when we all get back here in Tokyo.  Do you think this is possible?  Your insight on this matter would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

Dear Qorax,

As per my post above we are just really worried about our passports.  Since we are all flying to Manila for the holidays we are just worried that we might not get our passports back thus the request for an extension of submitting out passports.  Again, we will do everything the medicals and pay RPRF before the 30 day deadline just the passport part we are worried about.  What do you think of our plan (sending our passports in Jan when we get back to TOkyo)?

1. That's a good idea - get the Meds done @ Tokyo+Manila & send the pps later.
2. Yes, u can do that - submit the pps later (once u return @ Tokyo).
3. Get the other things organized, make the Bank Draft for the RPRF.
4. No, u don't need to send any receipt - send just the RPRF Draft alongwith a cover letter.
5. In the cover letter mention that u'd be returning from Manila on xyz date & the pps will be sent later.
