Hello everyone,

I have a very important question!!

I am waiting for my passport request and submitted Med on Nov. 1st. 2010
Those who received Passport request, please answer me as it is very important in my situation:

Does the passport request letter from government ask you to attach or send 'updated letter of reference' from the company with the passport??
or in anyway or chance, they ask for the letter from the company again after Med exam done???

Please please answer me who already got passport request. or if you have copy of the passport request letter, please post the sample for me.

I really really appreciate your help.

mine took almost 3 months to receive the request of my passport. They also gave me a 1 page form to fill up. i made my medical august received d request last week of nov.

Yes, in my case I was asked to send an updated reference letter to prove my current and ongoing employment.

hey

Good to hear that you have received the PPR after 3months cuz in my case i have not received anything yet and tomorrow it will be exactly 3months since all my docs and medicals have been delivered at the CHC London. hope to have it this week ?

guys it looks like there no consistency. For me it's been 4 months since meds were submitted...not sure if is because we are 4 in the family but 3 of us need background checks so not quiet sure as to what's going on....

can someone pls explain me what is exactly a background check? what's the meaning of this?

background check is security check and its under ground.

Thanks wayne,

I was wondering then they have called the employer to verify the status??? or can you just send the letter??
and does it have to be original or can it be the copied one??

Also, did this happen when they asked you for the passport request or before the request?

security check process will start between medical and passport request.
