Hi All,
Is it good or bad news when the canadian embassy returned back pictures and postcards back to me, and enclosed a letter stating that: At this time, these documents are not required for the continued processing of your file. Have anyone experience the same procedure? and what was the outcome?
thanks.

I am just curious but why are you sending them postcards?

also did they returned your pictures for the CIC application? have you sent the same one before?

Yes, this is good news.

I received my photos back when I was applying for Canadian PR back in 2001.

Oh congratulations on your baby girl!!! I hope you do get to see her soon.

I wouldn't be worried at all about getting your things back. My husband and I submitted a DVD of our wedding day which was returned to me with the letter approving me as his sponsor saying essentially the same thing -- that it wasn't required at this time. And just last month my husband got a letter from the Delhi High Commission asking for him to submit his passport and the photos we submitted were returned to us with the letter. As far as I can see, the photos/postcards have served their purpose and it's nice of them to give them back to you. Don't be worried.
